William Stone (born March 12, 1944, Goldsboro, North Carolina) is an American operatic baritone. He is a graduate of Duke University (B.A., 1966) and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (M.M. 1968, D.M.A. 1979). He made his professional operatic debut in 1975 and his international debut in 1977. He was inducted as a National Patron of Delta Omicron, an international professional music fraternity on April 1, 2003.〔(Delta Omicron )〕〔(Delta Omicron Old News Archives )〕 William Stone is a Vocal Instructor at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Curtis Institute of Music.
